Texman, I used a regular hole saw going slow with oil, took awhile but worked. You could drill a small 3/8" hole and then use a jigsaw because the hole doesn't need to be perfect Since the square plate on the switch covers the holes edges. I put a good bead of silicone on the back of the plate before I screwed it on.

a few more pics I managed to get the battery boxes inside the box, just no lids. i used a 2.6 cu ft box and i think that most are 2.75cf. If you want to use the box for storage, get the bigger box for sure. I actually found a use for the worthless sewer hose holder-floormat storage. s

More Mods: Quote. Added box for batteries from etrailer. (Tried Harbor
Fr, but they couldn't seem to get the toolbox and would not sale the
display. Fine.) paid more, but it is a really nice box except for drilling holes.
The box is perfect for the batteries less the plastic boxes. Anyone see
a problem not using the plastic boxes?
Texman, Here's my new 6 volt set up (finally killed the g24's). I used the plastic boxes and just screwed them down to the bottom of the box as the easiest way to keep them secured. As I also put other things in the box i didn't want anything to puncture the batteries or hit the posts and ground them out. Just got back from 4 days camping and they lasted straight through!, love it so far.

That looks like a decent TBC, but I have no experience with it. As for the E2, google for WDH setup, and look at a few setup videos on youtube. You will get the idea. You want a significant portion of the tongue weight shifted forward to the front wheels of your TV. The actual amount will depend on the TT and TV requirements, and there is more than one way to measure it. Most people just measure the height at the top of the wheel wells to ground. The most accurate way is to actually weigh the front wheels, back wheels and TT wheels to see where the weight has gone. That is also the most time consuming, and in most cases unnecessary. After it's all said and done, "some" of the tongue weight will be taken off the back wheels of the TV, and shifted forward to front wheels of the TV. As a consequence a very small portion of the weight will be back-loaded to the TT wheels. Because of the relatively long moment arm, the actual weight shifted back to TT should be really small; on an R-pod it will be something in the neighborhood of 40 or 50 pounds.
