I waxed my 179 before storing and was able to wax most of the roof. I do have a 10 ft folding ladder that made this possible (not going up on the roof). There is about 15" in the middle of the roof I could not reach. Thx ~JM

There is times when you can't help but be on the roof. Maintenance and resealing etc. I use a 20" X 8' piece of plywood to lay across the side rails to balance the weight, so as to not step directly on the roof. You can do a lot from the sides with a ladder, but not everything you might need to do.
