PA has a wide range of state parks and private campgrounds. Given the description above, you will probably have to (and should) seek out a private campground.

If you do decide on state park...don't take offense, but please let me know. I enjoy the peace and quiet. Smile

Have fun!

Welcome to the group, we are New Jersey as well. Bridgewater. Look at PA state parks, some are full hook ups and very pretty. Also some NY state parks are full hook up but have to go beyond Catskills to find that. Our favorite local campground is where the NJ rally is at Russel Brook campground. they are good people and a great campground. That's our first call when we have a weekend free. Isuggest you get set up for boon docking though because then you can go to any state park in NJ for a weekend and have fun. Its easy - just need 2 batteries and cook on propane. WE find we need to book WAY in advance to get a state park with hook ups and we are more of a "seat of the pants" couple. Also years ago when we had small kids we went to a KOA in Cooperstown?? near the baseball hall of fame and it was fabulous. Lots of activities for kids. Also did you know about the facebook group? Search r-pod owners.

Hi everyone. We have a rpod 182g and love it! My family and I are looking for a Rv campground with full hook ups, pet friendly place that we can enjoy BIG fires, small fireworks, no kerphew, cocktails, wifi, music, either a lake /pool /river, and kid activities. Our kids are 4 and 6 years old. We live in northwest New Jersey and don't mind traveling to Pennsylvania Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland south jersey or New York.
