Pulled the trigger on the 176. Build date was Feb. 2017 so it has to be a 2017 1/2. Bought the extended warranty and added yet another 1650 dollars to the price. Pick it up Saturday after they get it all prepped and cleaned.

Thanks for the input. Hope to hang around the forum for a while and contribute if I can, but I know I'll learn.

Another thing to consider when deciding which model is the storage space. The 179 is the most popular because it has a lot of it. I don't remember how much the 178 had when I looked.

Welcome to the group! I have seen some 176 owners in the forum, they should be able to answer your questions.

Looking at 2017 RP-176 and trying to decide.

Has all the packages including the Hood River. Has the TV and an electric tongue jack and awning. Still has the two drains, black water and gray water. I do not think it is a 2017 1/2 because of the two drains.

I'm in California and the dealer is asking approx. 20K out the door and including an equalizer hitch and electric brake set up.
Is this an acceptable deal?

I also do not see much discussion on the 176 here. Is there a reason for this?

Total newbie to this towable stuff and limited to parking/storage space at the house. That is the appeal of this unit.

Thanks for any input.
