Welcome to the world of RP179. We bought ours 2 years ago and have had many fun nights with it.

Don't know about set up time on the 179 but probably about the same as our 177.  Level left to right, then front to back, set stabilizers, slide out, hook up electric (if available) DONE, less than 5 minutes.  When we had our Jayco 1160 (6 sleeper pop up) my son and I could do it in 7 minutes BUT, putting it away in the rain (which happened a lot) was a bugger, wet mattresses all the time, bugger, bugger.  With the pod, you may get a tinge wet putting up the stab's but everything inside is D R Y !  SWEET !!!

Hello everyone! My first post and what a great reason. Today we bought our first pod. A 179. I have been trolling for a year now and watching/reading all your very helpful posts. Used to be tenters - then we just plain got too OLD for that. Then to a pop-up for three years - then just plain got too old for that!(too much set up time.) Can't wait to pick her up and go out for our first trip.
