We will likely stay at the Apache Flats RV park on Fort Huachuca if a space is available. It isn't that far from Fort Huachuca to Tombstone. I've made that trip a number of times. We have to firm up when we will be leaving our daughter's house before I can make a reservation.

Thanks one and all.  Yes "happy trails" and trailering going forward.  The Green Frog is a good fit for us as in the summers we can good into the back country along the Mogollon Rim and in the winter say closer to our own backyard along the Colorado River.

Stephen, we'll be spending a week, starting the 27th of Dec. at the Tombstone RV & Campground as it's central to our activities and well rated.  If you're in the area let us know and we'll buy you a buttermilk.

Congratulations and welcome! It sounds like the R-Pod and you were meant for each other. We are enjoying our 179 also. We will be headed your way in December after visiting our older daughter in Utah. Our younger daughter lives in Gilbert. We want to get down to Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista as part of this trip also to see old friends. Looks like we may be in the same area at the same time. Smile

It was back in early March this year at the Lake Havasu Bluegrass Festival, we were walking through the camping area towards the main stage when my better half said, "oh that is it?"  It was green and had a frog emblazoned in it's side.  I said, "it's a green frog, come on, let's go, Bluegrass Etc. is taking the stage.  I don't want to miss the set."  "But it's cute", was her response.  "Yeah, yeah", I said.

It was August of this year, I had just turned onto the I-40 ramp heading south from Bellemont AZ.  She was starring into the side mirror and suddenly said, "it's cute".  "Yeah, yeah", I said while checking my side mirror for traffic as we merged into the flow at 75 MPH trailering a new R-pod 177 just purchased at Camper World's Flagstaff facility.  Looking into the mirror I was amazed at how well the little travel trailer behaved behind the Ford F-150.  We passed Parks and got off just before Williams to set up camp at a KOA for a two day shackdown.

Since then the "Green Frog" has been to Monument Valley, Canyon De Chelly, Flagstaff, last week to River Island on the Parker Strip and will be going to Tombstone and Bisbee AZ after Christmas and returning a post new year...party on little frog.

Say, anybody thinking about an R-pod event here in Arizona in 2017???
