The various topics on the forum will be very helpful. I have gotten a lot of information here. I also have listed my mods (and will be listing a couple of more soon) which can be seen by following the link in my signature.

As for the scam, even though it hurt us financially, some good came out of it. I would not have heard about the R-Pods had I gotten a Casita. We just got home from a three week trip. Our R-Pod has been great. Be prepared to show it off. It attracts attention. Big smile

WOW,  I have quit Craig's List to much interaction between seller/buyer and you never know who you will be dealing with. I like to keep interaction at minimum until I know who I'm dealinng with.

Wow, sorry that you got scammed and I know you are taking a big chance dealing with things online these days. I felt confident given the seller's feedback rating but I did breathe much easier when the driver pulled into our driveway and saw everything as promised.

My only challenge now is that with no dealer or seller to show me how everything works I have to read manuals and figure things out. I am very thankful for this forum for that reason.

I am glad that worked out for you. We got scammed on a Craigslist deal for a Casita. I found the R-Pods after that. I am really glad since we are enjoying out 179.

A few weeks ago I bid on a 2015 179 on Ebay not really expecting to win. We did win and we were very excited when the carrier delivered it to us today. We have been tent campers and have had a couple pop-ups over the years, but we're very anxious to try our new purchase. I love the floorplan of the 179 as we definitely wanted something with a permanent bed. I look forward to reading and contributing to this forum and getting to know some fellow podders.
