Dave, One year I got this postcard from a co-worker who was camping in the UP during June.  On the front was a picture titled "UP Air Force", on it yes, you guessed it, one giant mosquito!

Yes the UP can set the record regarding bugs. Especially June and the first part of July.

Great idea using the fiberglass mesh, will have to check out my local hardware store to see if they carry that.  We have camped in some real mosquito infested areas in the UP.  They even managed to get into our pod from the slide, underneath where the gasket material doesn't cover the metal plate.  Stuffed a couple t shirts in that area to block them out, couldn't figure any other way to take care of that problem since there has to be clearance for the slide to work properly.  We thought the r-dome would keep out the bugs, but somehow mosquitoes and no-see-ums still manage to sneak in.  They are a BUGger!

Now that looks perfect.

Can you provide more details regarding the product such as;
Where did you get it?
Maybe a close up picture of the product.

Thanks

marwayne, I like your idea. Do you have any instructions/guidelines on how you did this mod?

Thanks.
