Thank you sir! I have been viewing all of the tips, pics and helpful hints for about 6 months now and have found many that we might apply. I likewise will be posting some of our RP179 changes with pics: 1) television swivel 2)sewer hose upgrade 3) R-dome installation 4) bike rack upgrade, etc.

sailor323, my input will be somewhat limited in that we are just starting back camping in this area ourselves. In Alabama, you would need to check with Meaher and Gulf State Park to see if they have any open sites. They get bunches on Snow Birds and are generally at capacity. You can go to www.alapark.com/parks for their info. Both are nice. For Mississippi and Florida, we are still researching.

hogone - I did disengage the transmissions OD and the engine revs stayed up to a certain degree. One advantage we have down here is all of the flat land. We have very few hills in our area and the roads are mostly in a grid pattern. These factors tend to make pulling the trailer somewhat less hard on the truck. I have pulled a 35' fifth wheel and a 28' tagalong, they were definitely back there. Here is hoping that our good fortune continues.
