The top of the ball on your tow vehicle's hitch should measure right around 19"  in order for your (non-Hood River Edition, but with axle risers) R-pod to ride level-to-slightly nose-down.

If it's a west coast hood river edition the top of the ball should be at 20 1/4" iv heard the axle risers with normal tires is 18.5" but don't quote me on that... phone you rpod sale men and have him measure for you

Hello all....

We are new, new, new to this all!!! Just bought a 2007 f150 4.6L w tow package last monday, and closed the deal on a 179 today!
We are lucky to have a local dealer that has booked us for a 3 hour newbie session w their tech people to explain and demo all the functions of our new trailer.( never owned a truck or a TT before FYI) yikes

That being said, we feel good and ready to tackle this new adventure!Smile

In researching our purchase we found this forum to be very helpful... Thank you all for your answers to many questions I was not sure where to find answers for.

Soooo as our first question officially as an Rpod owner and forum member.....

What should be the hitch ball height be for our 2015 rpod 179, w factory axel risers be???
**id like to show the dealer I at least have a clue when we go to pick up our rpod!

Thanks so much,
Mike and Jo
