I think the OP was trying to be helpfull and did not want to upset the members of the forum. A lot of forums don't allow posting of links to products of services so I think he was looking to be helpfull but wanted to check first if it was allowed. Welcome to the forum J&Jcf sorry if we missunderstood you.

J&Jcf look for a trailer dealer in your area that has your brand of axle that's on your POD (Lippert or Dexter). You can buy parts cheaper at a trailer dealer than you can an RV dealer, you can also buy the complete brake assembly if you don't want to mess with changing out parts. I believe that it is four bolts that hold the brake assembly to the axle. The dealer that I use, Croft Trailer Sales in Smithville, MO. has all of the parts in stock (bearings, seals, brake parts and brake assemblies), no down time.   Goose

Since we are on the topic of bearings and breaks, what is the reccomended mileage or age before changing these out?
I do agree with Mooses, oddly worded, but the gist is the user probably met with some backlash on another site and wants to avoid it here.

I think a lot of us here are mis-reading this post and the inherent idea behind it to be helpful and to want to share information where applicable.

Perhaps worded a bit oddly but I do not believe the intent is what some of you are making it out to be.

I misunderstood your post in the beginning so with better understanding welcome to the forum. Any help in finding parts or information on repairs would be helpful.  Thank you, Kymooses

Lack procedures, etc. Techntrek and others have put out reams of manuals on all types of maintenance procedures. I have printed several and keep them in a packet in the pod and even though I know by heart the winterization procedure I still get it out and follow it. maybe go to the search feature and look for things. different strokes for different folks. I have had my Pod for over 3 years but due to working and camping locally have not racked up the miles. So far no need for brakes etc.

I really don't understand the OP's premise. This forum's full of links to Amazon, Camping World, Harbor Freight and many other sources. Good supply recommendations are welcome. Just no sales pitches from vendors. I don't understand what brought this about.

Wow!! Where the $%#k did that come from J&Jcf??!!

You got something meaningful to say, say it.  Otherwise, take it somewhere else.

That's my two cents worth.
