I installed the axel lifts on my 173 mainly so that I could get in and out of my sloped driveway. The lifts raise the body of the trailer 3 1/2 inches.

Thanks for your reply. The 2010 Rpods have 13 inch wheels and the body of the trailer sits fairly close to the ground. I am concerned about clearance going through dips and ruts in forest service type roads here in Colordado. It is not the axle clearance that I am concerned with, it is the ends of the trailer as I go through these low areas. Thanks for the website!

Here is a reference guide on how to measure bolt pattern.
With this you can measure your pod and look up a replacement wheel on etrailer.com |

As long as you have clearance, there should not be a problem. I am not sure what advantage you hope to gain. Are you planning to offroad with the pod and want the maximum ground clearance? Here is a source of trailer wheels and tires in any lug pattern http://www.etrailer.com My new pod has the lift kit, but this does not raise the axle. Should I be looking at big wheels?

I have asked in a previous post about suggestions to upsize my tires/wheels on my 2010 rpod 173. I got some good support as to it's possibiity. Has anyone done it? If so, do you know an equivalent wheel lug pattern? i.e. from a Toyota 4runner, etc? Thanks for your help, any suggestions are welcome!
