Ok.  Well after confirming with the factory, I have a Duo-Therm 13,500 btu A/C.  Model # 641915.  Will be having installed the starting capacitor next Wednesday.  Will then attempt to run on a Honda 2 KW genset.  Will advise.  Safe Travels.

No Camper Bob, I have not changed anything. Reminder: My AC is only 11000 BTU.

Have you changed the starting capacitor or using the original?  Safe Travels.

Here is the scoop.
Started gen. plugged in trailer, drew 138 watts for LP detector, inverter and charger, after few minutes dropped down to 100 watts, at that point I started the AC fan on low, drew 560 watts then dropped down to 350 watts, then started cooling unit, drew 1407 watts dropped down to 1250 watts.
Now I have 2011 RP 172, it has a 11000 BTU AC, this is well within the EU2000i capability.
