Years back, folks looked into this with their (older models) one steps. One person reported success with their welder and a significant retrofit, but the rest of us found no simple solutions. etrailer may have a recommendation for your new model and the state of after-market suppliers.

Hello - I'm back after a 15-year hiatus with a new 2026 Rpod 190. Used to have a 177 years ago.

So, we just took delivery of our 190 yesterday and we don't like the entry step. There's only one step and I'm 79 years old. I need two steps.

The existing step is made by Lippert and Amazon has a Lippert 2-step replacement that I'm thinking of ordering.

I'm wondering if anyone has done this swap and was it straight-forward without any (or only minor) modifications?

Thanks,
Steve
