After 14 years we finally replaced the original axle on a 177 with one just a bit beefier than the original at a truck trailer repair center. Had 51,000+ miles on it, some washboard roads we were on last fall in Arizona really did a number on it, it was bad enough that we could only travel about 2 mph. Best wishes on your replacement, keep us posted on your replacement. |

Washboard roads are really beating up our trailer. Has anyone augmented their existing leaf suspension system with shocks or even upgraded to something like the Timbren system?
I know some of you have beast mode. I do not believe that is available aftermarket. |
