Good luck tracing the wires and getting everything connected back up. That is likely to be the most challenging part. Of course, since you are installing a new unit, you don't have to worry as much about which one went where as you can label them for whatever fuse position they happen to be. Same with the AC side breakers. The main concern is to figure out which one gets which capacity fuse or breaker. I recall someone posting a picture of the labels. I don't know if that included the fuses/breakers. If you use the advanced search, you can expand the search date range to include posts older than the default six months. That may help you find the information.

Stephen,
Thanks for your reply. The thief chopped the wires and ripped the entire unit out from its mount under the seat. I just ordered the 8955AD unit and hope to be able to install it after splicing the many butchered wires. Our trailer is covered under our homeowners policy so we should not be out of pocket except for the deductible. Thanks again for your input! Chris

Was it the complete panel or just the converter module on the bottom of the power section? If the complete unit was taken, did the thief cut the wires or loosen them and leave them there? Given the age and type, I would say that yours is most likely using the WFCO-8955 unit. If you have any thoughts of switching to a LiFePO4 battery sometime, then I suggest the updated WFCO-8955AD unit which adds auto-detect capability for the battery type. If it is just the converter part of the power center, then you could just order the converter module to replace the stolen part. Hopefully, the thief left fingerprints and the police will be able to track down the person/people responsible. That won't make it any easier, but may get you some reimbursement if you don't have insurance that covers the theft. Also, check to see what the storage unit's policy is regarding theft. Is there any recourse with them since they did not keep your trailer secure? |

A few weeks ago I went to our storage lot where our 180 is stored. I found that our beloved Pod had been broken into and vandalized for parts.
![]() The charge converter was ripped out, along with all but two of the led ceiling lights and the the CO detector. Because the existing converter was ripped out, I have no idea what type it was or how it was wired. My struggle now is to determine what replacement charge converter would be the best replacement and how to wire it. Any tips on a suitable replacement would be appreciated. And if you could recommend replacement ceiling lighting, I'd be grateful for a tip. Thanks!
