I trimmed my ParaQue slide out cover to the length of the rail. That assisted install, I since moved on to Lippert installed cover. I could retain the gutter ends after the trim.

They will flex enough to let you get the edge of the cover into the rail. You may need to widen one end slightly and file the sharp corner down to make it smoother. Then you should be able to get the cover started and fed in. That is how I work with my home-built cover (see my mods for pictures but I can't tell you which page at the moment).

Anyone know an easy way to attach the slide out cover to the rail system? Mine has the gutter things in the way that make it really hard to get the in.
