We had a Trailmanor but let it go because at the time we weren't using it.  We currently love our R-pod 179 but I feel we got better fuel economy with the Trailmanor. I recall a paucity of storage in the Trailmanor but more living room space. The lower profile of the Trailmanor required the compromises with the door and the bath room.  The first mods I made were to the pantry (adjustable shelves), the drawers (lengthened them), and installed a tilting TV bracket.  We spent 150 days in the Pod last year and just got back from 40+ days this year.  It is a great camper!
Enjoy Life!!

My wife and I just got a 189 a few weeks ago. We looked at lots of layouts and decided if we was stuck inside for a day or two the 189 would be best for us. We are installing a second tv in the bedroom. That way if I want to watch sports and she wants to watch Housewives she can. One of us will need headphones I’m sure. We also like that we can easily install a curtain to have some privacy in the bed if one feels like taking a nap.

Welcome! We bought our 2016 RP179 in December 2015. We have had a number of trips in it and I estimate that we have over 30,000 miles on it. I have done a number of mods (see link in signature) to make it ours and to make it work even better for us. I agree that it is very versatile.

Welcome!  We took possession of our 177 in March 2011.  Since then we have logged over 25,000 miles (I still am working) on it.  We normally boondock in national parks or forests but occasionally hit the state parks where electricity is available.  We have had very few problems over the 7+ years of ownership and thoroughly like our pod.  We special ordered ours so it came without A/C, microwave/convection oven, or entertainment system.  Even to this day we haven't regretted that decision.  There are many mods you can look at that other podders have posted on this forum.  That is what makes this such a versatile camper, you can add mods that fit your personality.  Enjoy.

Hi ...Tom and I are new here. A friend of mine has a 2017 Rpod 182G ...I think that's the one. It has a dinette, the 30 inch bunk beds and  and the garage that also has the outside kitchen. Her family loves it.

We currently have a Trailmanor 3124ks model and are considering buying a Rpod 189. We like the bathroom in this model and I love the entrance door to the camper. Wow ...it is really solid.

If we do purchase... then the Rpod will be the 4th camper we have owned.

So I joined basically to see how much you all like/love your Rpod and also to see the types of mods you do to them.

Thanks,

Dina
