I am lucky to have a heated warehouse and enough room for my Pod never worry about cold weather.

Sounds like a great park.
Just outside of cell coverage? That sounds like a challenge. I'll have to drive down and see if my cell booster and directional antenna can pick it up....
You can always just turn the phone off and pretend to everyone that there's no service where you're camping...

Just spent 3 nights at Manatee Springs State Park in Chiefland, Florida.
It is our "home park"- so to speak- since it is a mere 50 minutes from home. Daytime temps hit the low 80's, (the 177's AC called upon for afternoon naps), but nighttime in the mid-60's made the campfire-and-red-wine ritual enjoyable.
The best part? The Park is just outside the nearest cell tower range and there is no internet at all, even with a hot spot. It was wonderful...

But I am sure, some day, we will winter that far south.. or at least spend part of it down there.. Right now we do part of the winter in SC on the beach..

I must say I am a little jealous...winterized for Kansas weather quite a while ago. But come Spring, watch out!

Doesn't do anything for us either. That is why we stay up north, if we did a summer camping adventure in Florida we might have to consider getting an A/C unit for our 177.

I hear ya. 10 years of travel trailer ownership and I have never winterized. Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The questions about winterizing signal the advent of our prime camping season!
We leave tomorrow morning, right after voting, for a brief getaway in our 177. It is still forecast to be warm, so the AC will get a workout rather than the ceramic heater. It will be another month or more before we get to our favorite weather- mid-60's during the day and 40's at night.
Summer camping in Florida just doesn't do much fore us.
