Thanks, I'll check that out!  I'm plugged into the farm shop, which I was told has 30 AMP, but cetainly a worthwhile inquiry to make.

If you are plugged in to a standard 120v outlet, you are most likely on a 15 or 20 amp circuit instead of the 30amp circuit you get from an RV outlet. Using an adapter to plug your 30amp cord into a 15amp circuit is like choking your electricity down, the AC may not be able to draw enough amps. If this is the case, it will overheat and damage itself.

Hello All!

I am on my third trip with my rPod180.  I'm plugged into a 120 outlet and am only running the air conditioning.  The heat has been awful and I have the themostat set at 70 degrees F.  The ac has quit several times, and I have been able to reset it by turning it off, waiting, and then turning it back on.  Now the ac while set at 70 is cooling to 63 degrees F.  What am I missing here?
