Small world,isn’t it?
Who do you dive with and where?
I’m doing a virgin pod trip this weekend by myself to a dog show. Sounds like some wintry weather for it,too!

Know that town well (or use to)...in-laws use to live there 25 years ago and I made many a trip there. They lived off of Old Wire Road.

Welcome! We recently joined too. This is a great sight. Full of good information.  In Sept. we traveled down your way to Tenn & NC to ride the Tail of the Dragon. That's a great area.

Welcome! I think you will really enjoy & appreciate your RPod, I wasn't even aware of them or looking for a trailer and fell in love at first sight. Having options is cool Smile

Hi,all. Vann,we will have to talk diving. My husband and I have yet to dive in NC although we’ve lived here for 3 years. Chalk it up to moving, new jobs and then being blown out. The changing weather,in fact,is one of the compelling reasons to buy the rpod. At least then we don’t lose our hotel deposit when dive trips are cancelled at the last minute.
We will be making a much bigger effort to go diving now, since at least we can go camping or just reschedule.
My husband is a PADI instructor and I’m a DM.  I’m pushing for a cave diving course but he’s afraid something will happen to me way back in a cave. I usually get my way so we’ll probably do it one of these days.
Right now I’m really busy trying to get a championship on my Doberman so diving is slightly farther back on my priority list.

Welcome to the Forum. There are a lot of good people here who have a lot of experience and will be glad to help you.  We are now using our second  R Pod(179) and loving it.  we are also in NC and are scuba divers.
Travel safe

Hello everyone! I just bought my 2016 Rpod this weekend, lightly used. It’s a 182-G. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions as I start to use it, I’ve spent a bit of time in RV trailers of different sorts but this is the first time I’ve had a small travel trailer without it being part of a horse trailer, i have lived in some larger trailers off and on but it’s been awhile.
I will be attending dog shows by myself and we will also be using it to go camping/scuba diving and traveling around our newish state of NC.
Tbh, I think I actually saw my new camper in the state park a few weeks ago and that’s what got me started looking specifically for an Rpod. The guy I bought it from had been camping there that weekend and we drove around looking at campers to get an idea of what looked like it would work well with my Jeep.
Looking forward to learning more about my new little trailer and also becoming self sufficient, rather than staying at the dreaded hotels when traveling!
