Heavy wind on the road will blow out the fridge. I know - it is not supposed to, but it will.

I've had issues going from shore power to propane as well. It usually takes completely turning the fridge off and then starting it up on propane to get working...sometimes I've had to do this a couple of times but it does eventually work. I've also run the stove a bit to get propane flowing if it was previously off.

When we've disconnected the propane for storage, the propane line can get some air in it. I have opened up the valves & run the stove until it lights to sort of fill the line with gas. Once you've done that, the fridge, HW, etc. should all be good to go.

It's a brand new camper, taking it out for the first time tomorrow so I assume the dealer gave me a full propane tank. I've made coffee in it twice on the stove so assumed the air would be bled out but there could still be some air in the line to the fridge. I'll work on that, thanks!

Good answer jato! I was thinking to check reason for flame-out, but your suggest makes more sense.

The one time this happened to me I was low on propane, after switching tanks, the problem resolved itself. I did run the stove to purge some of the air out of the line. Did the same with the HW, took 3 tries before it would ignite and run.

I tried searching for an answer but couldn't figure it out. When I disconnect shore power & set to propane it works at first, but after a drive i open the camper and the fault light is on. Anyone else have this happen? We rented an Rpod last year and it did the same thing.
