Any Guesses Where These Parts Came From?

Found these lying on the floor on our trip this week, one on the way out and one on the way back.  Any idea where they came from?  I believe the black piece should be shrink wrapped somewhere.  Just no idea where.  Long shot, I know.  Or maybe it just was a leftover piece lying around from manufacture and rolled out from under the slide.

	Pass & Seymour manufactures electrical devices. I bet it was a power outlet box cover during fabrication. The black piece is outer jacket of 120 volt Romex cable. All construction trash. Cheers
