I bought our R*Pod last year but haven't been able to get it on the road. I drove it to the shop to have the risers put on, but this spring will be the first time I use it with the tent/awning/thing.

Is there anything special I need to do, now that the trailer is 4" taller than when it left the factory? I'm a musician, so don't expect too much smart.

Thanks!

You might notice that the skirt of the Rdome is a little shorter with the risers on but It still fit for me.
Edit: add picture.

I have the risers on in this picture.

We sprayed a little silicone in the tracks which helped it slide better when we put the dome on.

You shouldn't have any trouble using an R-Dome with risers; there's a reasonable amount of extra tenting at the base to fill the gap.  No changes in the procedure to put up the dome.  Of course, you will have to stretch a little further when running the keder through the top rail and also when attaching the supports... so you may want to bring along a stepstool if you're much under 6'.

Oh, a folding stool is just part of my camp gear whether I need it or not.

Thanks, everyone!
