I didn't see that particular post, but I bet they were using the same items we used up north to secure the edges of a swimming pool cover once we closed the pool up for winter.  Try this

First timers an unfortunately its raining,  On the otherhand we do have a r-dome...but it is leaking slightly and rain is low to moderate,.... can't imagine if it was a real downpour.  Can we use  silicone waterproofing on our r-dome and the windows etc on our 176t.  ( We have the bed pull out and I can feel moisture on the windows already..  My old viking had really think windows with a synthetic coating... never leaked.  
   If the r-dom leaks I can live with it.  If the windows of the 176T leak   I have to sleep withit!  Would love to here from some you u guys bout this,,.... just don't want to get wet

Thanks, Tech. I find the 172T & 176T intriguing. We've owned a popup, but would like the convenience of a TT. It seems like one of these would give us some of the best of both worlds. But the sleeping arrangements would have to work for DW and myself. If the rear bed is too small, we wouldn't be happy, especially myself at my height.

I have a little cheep grill that I use to grill but for cooking I have a coleman 2 burner propane camp stove that I have had for years. Once you get the trailer hooked up you will probably find that it is nose down. Sorry guys as a first timer I feel as if I am hogging the posts.... but I know that I read on a post where someone used water ballasts of some sort to tie down the skirt of the r-dome.  I would love to know what they actually used... more to prevent escapes from the two furry kids we have..  Thanks in advance.
